THE ACCREDIATION PROCESS

Depending on your role and licensing, there are several options and agreement structures available

FSP Agreement / Intermediary Agreement

For Financial Services Providers (FSP):

  • Sign an Agreement: Your FSP needs to sign an agreement with Everest Wealth.
  • Training: Brokers registered with your FSP must attend a training session.
  • Complete PSTs: Finish the required Product Specialist Training (PST) modules.
  • Outcome: Once these steps are completed, brokers will be accredited to sell and provide advice on Everest Wealth’s product range.

Combined Agreement

If you lack a Category 1.8 license but still want to be involved:

  • Referral through Accredited Advisor: Enter into a Combined Agreement.
  • Utilise Existing Advisors: You can refer clients through one of Everest Wealth’s accredited financial advisors.
  • Benefit: This allows you to participate in client referrals and leverage existing accredited advisors.

Support Channels

Accredited independent brokers have access to two support channels:

Direct Channel

  • Description: Work directly with Everest Wealth’s head office support team.
  • Suitability: This is ideal if you prefer not to have a linked product specialist or if you handle most of the support needs independently.

 

Support Channel

  • Description: A dedicated Product Specialist will visit your office regularly (weekly, bi-weekly, or as agreed).
  • Suitability: This option provides more hands-on support and is beneficial if you require personalised assistance and regular interaction.
